“I thoroughly enjoyed participating in 4 coaching sessions with Erin in December 2023 and January 2024. Coaching provided an unusual opportunity to spend time deliberately thinking about just myself, my life, my goals, barriers to my goals and other things that are important to me. Erin is an excellent coach! She listened with a spirit of service to all my “out loud” thinking and then asked questions that led my thinking deeper. This helped me to gain clarity and make specific goals around exercise, money management, the aging process and general health. Since we finished our sessions, I’ve thought of other goals as well. When coaching is done well, the client continues thinking and processing even after the sessions end - which is what happened with me. In addition to listening and asking the right questions, Erin helped me to realize what I was already doing well and the abilities I have to manage positive changes I want to make. She taught me some meditations and breathing exercises that help with relaxation. She helped me with using affirmations that support seeing myself in a more positive light. Overall, I think my sessions with Erin were invaluable in helping me understand my capabilities, struggles, cravings and what I want for myself. “When I first contacted Erin for nurse coaching, I was dealing with a knee and hamstring injury about 2 months prior to my first marathon.
